Email Messages
Quotec will keep track of each email you sent from the system, e.g. supplier orders and proposals. You can examine the emails and see whether they were successfully sent or have bounced.
Select Emails from the My Work menu:
This will display the following screen listing emails that have been sent.
You can use the search criteria at the top to find specific emails.
For each email you can see the type of the email, the subject, when it was requested and its current status. The status will change as the email is processed:
Requested | Email has been requested to be sent. |
Sent | Quotec has sent the email to the recipient. |
Delivered | Email has been sucessfully delivered to the recipients' mail server. |
Error | There was a technical error is sending the email. |
Opened | The recipient has opened the email. This is not 100% accurate due to the way the email is tracked and whether a recipient might be blocking stuff. If you see it as Opened, it has definitely been opened. If you see as Delivered, it’s possible it may have been opened but we can’t track it. |
Bounced | The email has bounced. |
Spam Complaint | The email was blocked as spam. |
If you click on an email, you will see the details and history of the email like this:
You can see the email was sent to two email addressed and they have been delivered and opened.
