Refund & Credit (Promotion) Policy
This guide explains how Quotec manages refunds and credits (Promotions), and what you need to do if you believe you are eligible.
When Can I Get a Credit (Promotion)?
Credits (Promotions) may be issued if:
You made an accidental payment
You made a duplicate payment
You entered an incorrect address on a job (special conditions apply)
Another case approved by Quotec Management
Refunds are not available if:
Engineering services have already been completed
Supplier Purchase Orders have already been processed
The request falls outside Quotec’s policy
What To Do
1. Accidental or Duplicate Payment
Contact Quotec Support immediately
Provide your job number and payment details
Quotec Management will review your request
If approved, a credit (Promotion) will be applied to your account
2. Incorrect Address Details (Special Case)
Check all job details carefully before payment – refunds are not available once engineering certificates are generated
If you paid with the wrong address:
Notify Quotec Support
Redesign the exact same job with the correct address (no change to windspeed or other specifications)
Purchase the new job and send the job number to Quotec Support
Quotec will review:
New job matches the original (only address changed)
No purchase orders processed on the original job
If eligible, Quotec will issue a credit (Promotion) for the original job minus the engineering certificate fee ($181.50 as at Aug 2025)
3. Other Cases
Support will review your request
Quotec Management makes the final decision
How Will I Know the Outcome?
If approved, you will receive confirmation from Support and the credit (Promotion) will appear in your account
If declined, you will receive a written explanation
How To Use Credits (Promotions)
Credits (Promotions) can be applied automatically to future jobs
The balance will appear in your account during checkout
You can apply it when paying for a new job
