Price Breakdown/ Supply Type

When you click on the price of the job, you will see a cost breakdown screen, which displays the same information as the Cost tab of the job management screen.

A BOM reseller can now change the Supply Type of the job. Initially, all jobs will start as a BOM job. However, if you have a little job you don’t want to spend too much of your time on, you can change the job from a BOM to a Kit job. The job will be charged at a higher service fee, but Quotec Systems will take care of all the purchasing for you.

The designer will show you whether the job is a BOM or Kit job when you look at the price. In this case, you can see the job is a BOM supply type.

When you click on the price, you will see the cost breakdown. At the bottom of the form, you have the option to change to a Kit job. You can also change the job back to a BOM job if you want.

Designer

• The designer now has Undo/Redo capabilities. This will allow you to undo changes in the design of the job.

• If you are a BOM user, the supplier tab will now show the cost per supplier. This helps if you change suppliers for the Steel category, you can see whether they are more expensive or not.

• If you do a job for a customer which has the company name filled in, the various documents produced will use the company name, where appropriate. This results in more professional looking documents.

PayID

• The reference will match regardless of case, so Job1234=JOB1234

• When making a payment, if an exact match on reference and amount cannot be found, Quotec will show a list of unmatched payments. If you can see the payment there but it has a wrong reference, you can now select it (so long the amount matches).

Miscellaneous

• Improved. When doing a cost import/export, Quotec does a better job of restricting the suppliers to those that are appropriate.

• Fixed. If a job was recalled with an expired quote date, a message would be displayed but the screen would go black.

• New. We have added back office functionality for Quotec staff to use to make it easier to respond to address/ plan number changes.

• New. A purchase order with new items on it will need to be saved before it can be ordered.

• Improved. A purchase order will recalculate the tax amount each time it is saved which should address issues where sometimes a line didn’t have tax calculated correctly.
