Version 1.46 - Release Notes
This version mainly contains internal modifications for us to better support our resellers. However, there are still a number of cool improvements (and some bug fixes) here for everyone!
Sliding Doors/PA Doors
When you add a sliding door or window, Quotec will remember your selection so if you add another one to the job later on, that will become the default for you. Also, if you add a custom door/window, Quotec will remember the size to again be used as the default when adding another one later on. This will make the process of adding these items more efficient.
Roller Door Motors
To add a motor to a roller door, you click the Add Motor checkbox. However, when you get to the really large roller doors, they may not be able to use a motor. Quotec will now give a warning if you have asked for a motor but one cannot be supplied. Similarly, if you fail to load pricing for the motors, a warning will also be given.
Engineering Drawings
The slab drawings have been updated for the engineering documents.
Carport slabs have been reworked to provide an extra 100mm on all sides to better support onslab brackets and provide a neater finish. So for a 6x6 carport, the slab required is 6.2x6.2.
When you had an awning that did not extend all the way to the end of the building, the elevation drawing for that last frame did not show the awning posts. This has been fixed.
Miscellaneous
New. If you want to switch between BOM and Kit, you must do so BEFORE the job is quoted. Once quoted, this can no longer be changed.
Fixed. If you added a payment schedule to a quote then came back and unlocked the quote then tried to remove and add another payment schedule, the payment schedule lines would double up.
Fixed. If a window was placed on a wall in the high side of a skillion, it was not calculating the jambs correctly.
New. If you are a company that has branches, you can assign a new job to a specific branch. This is useful if using Quotec Now where the jobs come into head office but need to be assigned to the relevant branch.
Fixed. Improved one of the brace cable diagrams in the construction guide and added additional items to be shipped.
