Pricing Options/ Estimates/ Ex GST
You have quite a bit of control over the pricing. This is a summary of the sorts of things you can do with links to more information.
Pricing Rules For Your Own Costs
Pricing Rules allow you to add different costs that you can fill in as part of doing a quote. In this screen shot Additional Parts, Council and Insurance were extra costs that were defined. You might want to add a Discount line for example.

Summarised Costs
You can summarise certain costs to show as a total amount on the quote. You can see in the above screen shot that Building and Additional Parts will be added together.
Estimates
You can set up costs as estimates so they aren’t included in your project cost but the customer has an idea of what to expect.

Ex GST Pricing
If you are doing commercial quotes you might want to provide the quote as exclusive of GST.

The cost in the designer will be ex-GST as will the cost on the proposal.
If you click the cost in the designer, a popup will show details of the cost. There is a button that will let you toggle between including/excluding GST in the the price.

There is a setting in Pricing Details which will allow you to set this option at a system level which will become the default for each new job. You can then use the above method to change it on a job by job basis.
