Setting Supplier Freight Preferences

You can either use Quotec’s freight pricing or your own freight set to calculate freight costs for your suppliers in the system. See Freight Sets for information on how to set up this information.

You can select your preferred freight for a supplier on the Supplier details page.

Go to ITEMS >> Suppliers.

Use the search criteria and the SEARCH icon at the top of the page to find the supplier you would like to edit freight details for.

The supplier page should appear as below, with a Basic Info section at the top.

Scroll down to the Ordering section. Approximately two-thirds of the way through this section you will find the settings for freight. If the Use Quotec Freight is checked the next two freight settings will not be shown.

If you would like your freight to be calculated using Quotec’s pricing then simply check the Use Quotec Freight box and the pre-set freight calculations will be used for this supplier.

If instead you would prefer to use your own freight then simply un-check this which will bring up the additional freight settings.

Using the Freight drop-down you will be able to select the freight set to use for this supplier.

Once you’ve set your freight preferences for this supplier don’t forget to return to the top of the page and click the SAVE icon to apply these changes.
