Engineering Certification

Quotec provides the option to receive engineering certification with your design. This engineering is completed for site classes A,S & M. If your job is outside of these classifications send an email to the Support Team to discuss Custom Designs engineering to suit.

To receive your Engineering & Certification for a job, you will need to process part or full payment of your job.

You will then receive your signed compliance certificate from our third party Structural Engineering within 24-48hrs. You will be notified via email when you can retrieve your certificate from your Job Documents

If you would like to receive this engineering you will need to make sure the job is initially created using an address search.

Manual Address Search

If the system can’t find the site address use the “I can’t find address” link below the search. Don’t use the windspeed search instead as you will not be able to receive engineering certification if you do.

This link will bring up a manual address pop-up where you can search for your address.

After searching the address, the latitude, longitude and address details will all be filled in automatically.

As stated, the Council and Lot/Plan details are not required at this stage or to complete a quote however you will need to fill these in before purchasing the job.

Edit Council and Lot/Plan details in the designer

To edit these details in the designer before purchasing click the Location icon to the right of the screen and fill in the required details.

After clicking done, the pop-up will disappear and your screen should now appear as below. You can now continue with your design as usual.
