Freight Included in Quote Prices

Kit Users

Quotec is set up to calculate freight costs for Kit users and include these costs in your quote while you complete your shed design. There are some cases where the system will be unable to calculate freight or an additional cost is required. See below for more information on these exclusions.

Exclusions

If you wish to have your footing brackets delivered separately the freight cost for this will not be included in your quote.
For large orders outside of Metroll’s standard consolidation restrictions, additional costs may be required. These costs are calculated on a POA basis and are not included in your quote.
Quotec uses third-party APIs to determine some freight costs. If there is an error in determining your freight cost during the designer stage you will receive an error showing that your quote price is inaccurate. In these cases, contact support@quotec.com.au for more information.

BOM Users

Using Quotec’s Default Supplier Network

If you use Quotec’s default supplier network and have all your orders consolidated for delivery, freight costs will be included in your quote. See below for more information on cases where these freight costs will either be excluded or inaccurate.

Exclusions

Any orders not being consolidated and instead being delivered directly to site or the reseller’s address may include additional freight costs.
For large orders outside of Metroll’s standard consolidation restrictions, additional costs may be required. These costs are calculated on a POA basis and are not included in your quote. You can contact Metroll directly to determine any additional costs.
Quotec uses third-party APIs to determine some freight costs. If there is an error in determining your freight cost during the designer stage, you will receive an error showing that your quote price is inaccurate. Your system can be customised so that it does not use Quotec’s freight calculations. Quotec holds no responsibility for any changes made to this setting which may result in freight costs being excluded from your quote. This setting is found on each Supplier Information page, for more details see Supplier Information Page.

Using Custom Suppliers

If you’re using your own custom suppliers freight will not be included in your quote price unless it has been specifically set up.

A base Q-Plates freight will be calculated however additional costs may be required for delivery. If you receive a POA message for Q-Plates please contact support@quotec.com.au for support.
