Incorrect Address
The process for amending an incorrect site address on a job will depend on it’s current status. Find the relevant section below for instructions on what to do.
If you cannot find the correct site address when creating your job use the Manual Address Search option.
Haven’t Purchased The Job Yet
Require Signed Engineering
As these jobs are generated using site specific details you will not be able to edit the site address you will also not be able to copy the job to amend this as it will still use the same address.
You will need to create a new job with the correct site address. Once you are happy that this new job matches all the details of the old job you can purchase the new job and remove the old job from your search screen.
No Engineering Certificate Required
If you do not require an engineering certificate and so have used the windspeed/ postcode selection you will be able to edit the site address within the constraints of the postcode provided. It remains your responsibility to ensure that the necessary windspeed still applies.
Editing the Tax Invoice address WILL NOT update the site address
Already Received Engineering
If you have already received engineering with the incorrect address listed the process will depend on the windspeed difference between the two addresses.
Same Windspeed
If the windspeed for the correct address matches the windspeed of the original address used, a new engineering certificate can be provided. Check out the costing for this certificate HERE. To receive this new engineering certificate you will need to send an email to support@quotec.com.au including:
The original job number
The correct address (please provide the street address not the lot number)
Different Windspeed
If the windspeed does not match you will need to create a new job using the correct address. If you have not yet purchase the order documents for the job, Quotec may be able to provide a partial credit. Check out Quotec Fee Schedule for more information.
